UPCOMING EVENTS:

Most people approaching retirement have questions about Medicare and Social Security.  Two upcoming seminars presented by Everence on Monday, June 25, will provide answers.
  • Medicare:  An overview (5:30 - 6:45 p.m.) will provide information on what’s covered, the plans that supplement Medicare, and enrollment deadlines.
  • Social Security:  An overview (7:00 - 8:15 p.m.) will explain how benefits are calculated, the best time to start collecting Social Security, and about spousal benefits.
The seminars will be held at Everence Financial, 1221 W. Maple St., Hartville.  To reserve your spot, contact Jean Bontrager at 330‑877‑6066 or email jean.bontrager@everence.com

NEWS & NOTES:

Vacation Bible School still needs a Games Director (for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only – volunteers for this position for one day would be ok).  If you would be willing or you know someone who would be willing to help, please contact Shannon Mercer or Darlene Martin.

  • short size 6-8 oz. empty water bottles
  • empty plastic 20 oz. pop bottles

Volunteering Can Change a Life – Maybe Your Own!  Community Hospice (office in Salem) needs highly motivated and compassionate individuals who want to make a difference by volunteering their time.  Our Volunteer Teams offer many opportunities to share gifts and talents.  You may be interested in helping patients, delivering supplies, working with military veterans, fundraising, sewing/crafts, helping in the office, Pet Therapy program, or a variety of other ways.  Please contact Heather Kane, Volunteer Coordinator, at 234-575-0164 for more information or to reserve a seat for our upcoming training.

See letter on the bulletin board from Eternal Life Church, Pastor Robert Akrofi Dartey.

Contact Pastor Phil if you would like him to come to your home for a visit or feel free to stop by the church during his office hours listed each week in the bulletin.

Greeter sign-up sheet is on the table in the foyer.  If you are able to do one week or more we invite you to sign the dates you can help.  Thank you!   - Worship Committee
